Fostex X-77 Analog Cassette Tape Multitrack Recorder

This used Fostex X-77 Multitrack Recorder comes with a Blank Cassette Tape and a Power Adapter.

Condition

This recorder is in good condition with normal cosmetic wear. The dust cover (cassette door) is not attached, but still provides the function it's designed for, to keep the dust out. Unit works great and has been demagnetized and is ready to go, and fully tested. Please see pictures for details on item condition.

Product Details

The Fostex X-77 is a multitracker that combines a multi-function mixer with six inputs (two of which accept mic signals and can be specified as balanced or unbalanced inputs) and AUX of "BI alternate mechanism", and a high-performance four-track cassette recorder with full-logic controls, a high-quality, double-speed (9.5cm/s) tape transport, and Dolby C Noise Reduction system.

The X-77 offers versatility and advanced functionality, including four-track simultaneous recording, punch in/out by footswitch (with the rehearsal function), zero-return/auto-playback, operation indicators (that show operation status, and instrument rehearsal mode at half speed (4.75cm/s).

The X-77 allows you to create high-quality sounds easily, using techniques such as playing four different instruments by yourself, track bouncing (ping-pong), using the AUX send/return jacks for effect processing, and tape sync mixdown by MIDI/TAPE multi-mix function.
